Finally got my new Truck!
It’s a Ford F450 Supercab 4x4 Diesel. It’s got all the good options with a 4.88 rear limited slip differential. I had a Harbor Truck Body 9 foot flatbed with 2, 8 foot tool boxes mounted on top. I’ll add more storage and equipment later. On top of all that I mounted an Okanagan 117DBL Cabover camper. It has 2 slideouts and every option they sell including a generator! It’s incredibly comfortable with lots of room inside to relax. The entire rig together came out a little taller then I had planned. It’s 13 feet to the top of the air conditioner. I’m working on ideas to lower the over all height. It will work ok for touring in the U.S but when I leave for South America I’ll need to get something lower.
